I love sharing music, and I love getting new music from friends. Not everyone likes music playing while they do Pilates, I get it. I use music during my classes and private sessions, because I think it adds so much heart to the work I do.
I recently had this beautiful moment last month while teaching at Lululemon Queen W. I had a few close friends attend my class, and realized that each one of them had contributed a song on my playlist. We exchanged smiles, and glances as they moved through the class. Hearing our favourite music can motivate us to keep moving, and can absolutely put a smile on our face.
This song came to me from my friend Jessica Manning, who knows a thing or two about good workouts. I just can’t get enough of this song lately. Pinata, by Montgomery has a driving beat to keep you moving, and catchy vocals that will haunt you well after your workout. For me it’s a Fall listening staple.
