Located conveniently two blocks down from Fine Tune Pilates Studio, is the chic activewear shop offering anything but boring stretch pants. This light filled little shop is the perfect place to get yourself kitted out for your next sweat sesh. Designers such as Martha McQuade, Michi, and Lucas Hugh line the racks, and even though Ardith is new to the Roncy strip, it’s already catching the attention of many locals, and Toronto Life. I asked owner Miranda where the name Ardith came from, and where she drew inspiration for the store’s decor. The shop was named after her 91 year old grandmother, a Victoria native with a passion for staying fit, and an eye for fashion. The unique window display is an homage to her grandma Ardith, with both her and Miranda’s star signs hanging in the background.
Next time you’re strolling through Roncy be sure to pop into Ardith and say hello, you will NOT be sorry you did.
