To avid Pilates goer the “squishy ball,” or Coach ball may not be a new and exciting piece of equipment. While it’s not exactly new, this week I found myself figuring new and fun ways to use the Coach Ball in my Pilates workouts! It’s just an all around versatile and simple piece of gear to have around the house. It can help challenge your stability, up the difficulty of an exercise, and it doesn’t take up a lot of space. So if you have a smallish sized apartment like mine, it’s a reasonable solution to owning a giant stability ball. You can get a squishy ball from most sporting good stores, or sometimes even at department stores like Winners for under $10.
