It happens no matter how old you are, zits. I have tried everything to clear up breakouts, during my liver cleanse last week for insentience my skin went haywire! I get it, so what do you do when you have an embarrassing break out? My new favorite remedy is carbolic soap. Why didn’t I know about this when I was 15?!!! This is the most simple but effective remedies for breakouts I’ve ever found.
Carbolic soap is made up of Sodium Tallowate, Sodium Cocoate, Glycerin, Mixed Cresols (Cresylic acid). Over the centuries it has been used for many things, some people say that they dissolve Carbolic soap shavings in hot water. Then spray the soap mixture over their lawn to get rid of those root-eating grubs. Others hang Carbolic bars from their fruit trees or stake them around vegetable patches to discourage unwanted browsers. Regardless of it’s alternate uses, carbolic soap has incredible antiseptic properties, and is a very traditional type of soap that is recommended for acne. You can buy this soap at most health food stores, and here in Toronto I buy mine at Bulk Barn. Try it out, you don’t need fancy creams, or face washes, simple soap is all you need!
