If you’re like me, you like the sweeter things in life. Obviously I try not to overindulge when it comes to sweets, but I definitely like to satisfy my sweet tooth about once daily. This can be a super sweet and juicy medjool date, a piece of extra dark chocolate, or bananas with raw honey and cinnamon. I’ve got a few favorite sweet snacks that are, easy to whip up, satisfying, and most importantly devoid of chemical sweeteners or refined sugars! Here’s my latest creation…
Easy Peanut Butter Icing
Dip it, spread it, the icing you can put on anything!
1 tbs raw honey
2 tbs peanut butter (preferably with no sugar added)
1 tsp cinnamon
2 tbs coconut oil (melted)
1 tsp vanilla
Step 1: Place all ingredients into a bowl and stir until smooth.
Step 2: Dip apple slices, bananas, spread on cupcakes of choice, whatever!
Note: This is a snack size portion, if you are icing a cake or cupcakes you can easily double the recipe.
