A few weeks ago I posted about Chobani yogurt in My Favorite Things Monday, and how I had really been enjoying it. Well, the fine people at Chobani saw my post and were nice enough to supply me with some of my favorite yogurts! I got to sample their peach flavor, pomegranate, strawberry, and my favorite, black cherry. I love cherries so much, they’re deliciously tart, and because their only available in Spring and Summer they feel like such a treat! Ironically, I saw the very next day that SELF Magazine posted that February is National Cherry Month. Although I think National Cherry Month is pretty random, I thought it would be a great opportunity to post about one of my favorite fruits. Around here it’s still pretty cold and wintery, but the thought of eating cherries made me think of warm days and so I found myself lusting after frozen treats. I came up with something quite delicious, that you can enjoy whatever the weather!
Creamy Dreamy Cherry Pops
Because a girl can dream…
2 Small containers of Chobani black cherry Greek yogurt
1 cup pure cherry juice (try to find no sugar added so you get the full tart flavor!)
1. Combine ingredients in blender and mix on low setting (you don’t want to liquefy all the delicious cherry chunks!)
2. Pour mixture into popsicle molds and let freeze overnight.
